This electric wire rope hoist is capable of adapting to many typical uses in industrial lifting operations without subjecting the user to special requirements. The standard range includes 6 construction sizes for capacities from 800kg to 40,000 kg with 2 or 4 rope falls, lifting speed between 1.5 and 12 m/min and with feet suitable for "supported" or "suspended" mounting (for stationary or trolley mounting).

A wide range of travelling trolleys are also available in either double or monorail version with standard and low headroom.

		CONFIGURATIONS Series M electric wire rope hoists are available in the following four standard versions: Version 52 with 2 rope falls for capacities from 800kg to 10,000kg "supported" or "suspended"; Version 54 with 4 rope falls for capacities 1,000 kg from 1,600kg to 10 "supported" or "suspended", and for capacities from 25,000kg to 40,000kg "supported" only.
VERSION S2 with 2 rope falls.	VERSION S4 with 4 rope falls.

STANDARD CONFIGURATIONS - TYPE 53 - 53C1 - 83 -3

Hoist with supported double rail trolley.	Hoist with suspended double rail trolley.	Hoist with monorail, low headroom trolley	Hoist with monorail, standard headroom trolley.

GEARBOX (1) The 2 or 3-stage planetary gear reduces the speed of the electric motor to the rpm necessary for the drum. All gears of the planetary gear are made of heat-treated high quality steel.
ELECTRIC BRAKE MOTOR (2) Three-phase asynchronous 1 or 2- speed motor with cone rotor and integrated cone brake driven by a coil spring. The brake release is due to the sliding of the rotor after switching-on of the power supply.
ROPE GUIDE (3) The rope guide basically consists of two parts: a guide ring and a pressure spring that properly guide the rope on the drum grooves. The guide ring maintains the rope in position during the uncoiling, preventing it coming-off the groove
LOAD LIMITER (4) All "M" series hoists with 2 and 4 rope falls are equipped with a load limiter with 2 reaction thresholds. The load limiter consists of an electric-mechanical system with pre-set springs acting on two microswitches located in the auxiliary circuit. These microswitches stop all movements, exception made for the lowering of the load. The first
LOW HEADROOM TROLLEYS (5) Low headroom trolleys are equipped with 2 travel units, consisting of planetary gears with double speed brake motors directly flanged to the wheels, therefore without external teeth.
