Red Rooster Industrial achieves BS OHSAS 18001 Certification. Red Rooster Industrial UK Ltd has been awarded certification to the occupational health and safety management system BS OHSAS 18001 by BSI. Through implementation of the health and safety management systems standard, RRI UK board have confirmed their commitment to their workforce to promote a safe and healthy working environment. BS OHSAS 18001 provides a framework that allows RRI UK to consistently identify and control health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance, and improve overall performance. Already we have seen the benefit of the professional and helpful assistance given us by BSI during the lead up to gaining certification. This has shown itself in many ways such as the simplifying of both our quality and OHSAS systems, compliance with legislation and the protection of our workforce. When we started out to improve our Health and Safety systems, with the assistance of our consultants Ketba, it was to meet industry requirement but the benefits found during the process quickly showed the further advantages certification would give us. Red Rooster Industrial (UK) Limited announces the opening of their new depot in Stavanger, Norway. Based in the Tananger region the outlet will mirror the excellent products and services offered by existing U.K. outlets located in Aberdeenshire and West Bromwich, West Midlands.
Red Rooster NORGE AS will specialise in the sale and rental of air hoists, electric chain hoists, wire rope hoists, powered winches, load measuring equipment, and other lifting equipment. Primarily targeting the offshore and related markets the outlet will offer competitive rental rates utilizing predominantly new equipment.
The Red Rooster Board consisting of Managing Director Bill Aitken, Engineering Director Steve Wright, Financial Director Margaret Gibb and Sales & Marketing Director John Evans have a positive commitment to growth outside of the U.K.
